Terms of Service - Castle

These terms of service ("Terms") apply to how individuals access and use Castle's streaming services in India, comprising its PC compatible app, Android APK as well as Content Library (containing TV channels, movies, live sports and web series). You acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Copyright Act 1957, Information Technology Act 2000, DPDP Rules 2026 and IT Rules by downloading or installing Castle service or otherwise availing our services. Please stop using the app immediately and uninstall it if you disagree with any of its terms.

1. Grant of Limited License

For your personal use and not for further distribution, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license to use our content in accordance with these Registered & Restricted 3rd Party Products Terms. With this license, you can watch a few titles without an internet connection for personal use and also access HD/4K content (Bollywood films, regional movies, IPL, international dramas). You are not permitted to share the Castle APK file without written consent, provide access for any third party or use Castle for public screenings (cafés, community centers). Multiple profiles for family members on a single account is fine so long as those profiles are not shared with non-household members.

2. Content Usage Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct

You MAY NOT redistribute, copy, modify, print or monetize any of Castle's content without written permission from Castle or the copyright owner whether it be for profit or not. All content is copyright protected under both domestic and international laws. In addition, any unlawful use will result in revocable access and possible legal action. Using modified or pirated APKs, bypassing security measures, dodging geography-based restrictions are all against the terms, as are posting offensive or illegal content that violates Indian legislation and/or social norms.

3. Service Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Castle does not make any warranty, express or implied, and provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Our dream is to offer buffer-free streaming, ad-free content (except for mods), easy cross-device progress syncing, and we're working hard to meet this goal for all our visitors — we promise! We do not accept responsibility for any such damages or for the use of the service, or inability to use it, and we may discontinue this service at any time without notice, including due to device model incompatibility, missing content availability or streams being interrupted by network downtime.

4. Term Updates & Governing Law

We may change these Terms from time to time based on changes in the offerings of our services or in applicable law. Users will be notified of such changes through in-app notifications, and the updated Terms can be found under "Settings > Legal," which also states the date of its last revision. Your continued use of Castle 30 days after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Indian law will apply to disputes, with the courts of the Indian state in which you reside or Castle’s Indian operations headquarters having exclusive jurisdiction.
